Important! Only allowed file types can be uploaded

The basic data function for file types is important in order to be able to upload images or other media on products. Only files with the file type specified here will be accepted by feed®'s media bank when attempting to upload.

If you get validation error when uploading? Check if the file type has been added as an allowed file type.

When adding a new file type, you must also provide feed® with information about what type of media this is.

• Image
• Video
• Audio
• Document
• Other

For file type of the type "Image," a thumbnail of the image is generated to serve as an icon.
For all other types, one can choose from the available icons in feed for what one wants to display as an icon in front of media in overviews. For example, for PDF files.
