There are several methods for finding products that specifically do not have a given value.

Chips:

In all search fields where a chip appears, you can add it to search for products that have the value. But if you click the chip, it will show a strikethrough and search for products that do not have that value.

Chips must be added to the search before the specified value is searched.

Chips are characterized by being rectangles with rounded corners, and they have an “x” on the right end:

This is also how filters appear in general search field once they’ve been added to the search. You cannot click on a chip after they have have been added in the search field to change the chips.

Missing value:

For all attributes where the Missing value checkbox appears, you can check the box and add it to the search to see if there are products that match on missing value.

Remove checkmark from selection fields in dropdown lists:

Under Selection – Product, you can in Product Owner, Product Group, Supplier and Product Template remove the checkmark from a drop down selection and add it to the search to show products that do not have this value.

This can be useful, for example, if you have a product owner on a product group or a brand, and you want to identify whether there are products in that group or brand that are missing the product owner they should have.

  1. Remove checkmark
  2. Add to search
  3. to display which products do not have this value.
