In the NOBB Configuration, you can set up the desired mapping between data fields in NOBB and in feed®.
There are four different tabs for data mapping.
Product data
This is where most of the product information is mapped between NOBB and feed®. On the left side under the title "Product data," you will find a list of fields in NOBB that can be mapped. These fields are grouped by datatype/category, and for each type, you can map data fields from feed® that match the datatype in NOBB. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required fields in NOBB for creating new products and must be mapped as a minimum.
Text fields can be mapped to both product header fields, custom texts, or attributes of all datatypes.
- Integer fields can be mapped to attributes of type integer in feed®.
- Decimal numbers can be mapped to attributes of type integer or decimal in feed®.
- Date fields can be mapped to attributes of type date in feed®.
- Checkboxes can be mapped to attributes of type checkbox in feed®.
- Danger Class, Packaging Group, Price Unit, and Tax:
- These have a set of valid values in NOBB and must be mapped to attributes of type data register in feed®. Note that you must also map the values, not just the attributes, by expanding these with the › icon.
- Environmental Labels & Hazard labels:
- These have a set of valid values in NOBB and must be mapped to attributes of type multi-select data register in feed®. Note that you must also map the values, not just the attributes, by expanding these with the › icon.
Specifically for Environmental Labeling:
Environmental labels—Swan, PEFC, FSC, and Eco-label (EU Flower)—can only be linked to products if the certificate is associated with the company under "Party Domain." This must be done directly in NOBB, not through feed®. If this setup is missing, you may encounter validation errors for the product in NOBB.
Image
To identify which images and formats should be exported to NOBB for the different image types, you need to specify the media role and, if applicable, the format you wish to export.
NOTE: NOBB has validation requirements for images and their quantity. Feed® will export all images with the specified media role/format for a product to NOBB. If you transfer images that should not be sent to NOBB, these must be deleted directly in NOBB.
NOBB allows only one product image per product, but it is possible to specify multiple product images by indicating the angle of the image (e.g., top, bottom, right, left, etc.).
On the left side under "Product Data," you can see the types of images that can be exported to NOBB. By clicking on the link icon , you can choose on the right side which images on the product should be exported for the selected type by selecting the desired media role and, if desired, a format. If a format is not specified, the original image in feed® will be used.
Document
Similarly to images, you can see a list of document types that can be exported to NOBB under the title "Document". By selecting a media role, all documents on the product with the specified role will be exported to NOBB with the selected type.
Note: NOBB has validation rules regarding the number of documents allowed per type. In most cases, only one document per type is permitted.
Bundled Items
If you have items of the type "Display Items" or "Composite Items," you can specify here which relations identify the products included in the item. It is important that the related products are valid NOBB products and meet NOBB's requirements for display and composite items.
