In NOBB Configuration, you can set up the desired link between data fields in NOBB and in feed®.

There are four different tabs here for data mapping:

  • Product Data

  • Image

  • Document

  • Composite Items

Product Data

This is where you link most of the product information between NOBB and feed®. On the left-hand side, under the title "Product fields," you will find a list of fields in NOBB that can be mapped. Information on expectations and rules for each field can be found on Byggtjeneste's website: .

The available fields are grouped by data type/category, and for each type, you can link feed® data fields that match the data type in NOBB.

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required fields in NOBB for creating new products. These must be mapped as a minimum.

  1. Fetching master data from NOBB (Fields will appear in the left-hand column under Product fields).
  • Click on the link to activate the field that should be mapped. An orange linkindicates an active link for mapping.

  • Select the feed attribute/text field to be linked to the NOBB field. Here, you can only select valid data types. If you cannot find the attribute in feed® on the list, it is likely set up with the wrong data type.

Data Types:

  • Text fields can be linked to product header fields, custom texts, or attributes of all data types.

  • Integers can be linked to attributes of type integer in feed®.

  • Decimals can be linked to attributes of type integer or decimal in feed®.

  • Date can be linked to attributes of type date in feed®.

  • Checkbox can be linked to attributes of type checkbox in feed®.
PS: if a checkbox is mandatory in NOBB, you must make sure to have true or false (undefined, not handled will cause an error/warning)

  • Country of Origin (data registry): NOBB uses 2-letter country codes, which are placed in the feed data registry. The data registry row key for the country must match the country code in NOBB.

  • Hazard Class, Packaging Group, Unit, Price Unit, Customs, Type (are data registry): These have a set of allowed values in NOBB and must be linked to attributes of type data registry in feed®.

    • Note: Remember to also link data register line values, not just the attribute, by expanding them by clicking on the "›" icon.

  • Eco-Labeling & Packaging Labeling (are data registry multiple-choice): These have a set of allowed values in NOBB and must be linked to attributes of type data registry multiple-choice in feed®.

    • Note: Remember to also link data register line values, not just the attribute, by expanding them by clicking on the "›" icon.
  • Video (text): Linked to a text field in feed® that contains text as expected by Byggtjeneste/NOBB.

Specifically for Eco-Labeling:

Eco-Labeling – The Swan, PEFC, FSC, and Ecolabel (EU Flower) can only be linked to items when the certificate is connected to the company under "Party Domain." This must be done directly in NOBB, not via feed®. If this is missing, it may lead to validation errors on the product in NOBB.

Documents

Similar to images, under the documents section on the left column, you will see a list of document types that can be exported to NOBB. By selecting a media role, all documents associated with the product with the specified role will be exported to NOBB with the chosen type.

NOBB has validation rules regarding the number of documents allowed per type. In most cases, only one document per type is permitted.

Images

  1. To retrieve available image types from NOBB, you can click on the circular icon in the upper right corner to download master data from NOBB.
  2. The left column (Product fields) under Images shows the NOBB image types that can be linked from feed®.
  3. Click on the link to activate the field to be mapped. An orange linkindicates an active link for mapping.

  4. To identify which images (and possibly the corresponding feed® format) that should be exported to NOBB for the different image types, you must specify the desired media role and format for export.

  5. The linked feed value is displayed with the media role name, and if there is a bracket with a name after this, it indicates the feed format used. If there is no bracket with a name after the media role, the original image format from feed® is used in the synchronization to NOBB.

NOBB has validation requirements for images and quantity. Feed will export all images of the specified media role/format for a product to NOBB. If you transfer images that should not go to NOBB, they must be deleted directly in NOBB.

NOBB only allows one product image per product in NOBB, but it is possible to specify multiple product images by indicating the side and angle of the image (top, bottom, right, left, etc.) that distinguish it from the other images.

Composite Items

If you have items of the type "Display Items" or "Composite Items," you can specify here which relationships identify the products included in the item. It is important that the related products are valid NOBB products and meet NOBB's requirements for display and composite items.
