"Statuses in feed®
All products in feed® must have a status. Therefore, a status is already defined when feed® is installed. The "Registered" status that is set up before starting will be automatically assigned to new products until you change the setup in feed®. There must be one and only one status defined as the "default status". This is the status that all new products will receive if not actively given another status.
feed® comes with only one pre-registered status, and the statuses you want to use are 100% configurable as long as you have at least one default status. This cannot be deleted but can be modified.
- Name, descriptive name for the status. This can be translated into active languages in feed®.
- Code, this is the corresponding code that is fixed for this status.
- Description, optional field where a brief description can be provided. Can be translated.
- Default status. Only one status can have this designation. This is the status that new products will automatically receive if another status is not actively chosen. Cannot be deleted.
- To be validated, a pure information field with no associated functionality in feed®, intended only as information for export.
- Valid in catalog, legacy from feed® version 1. No longer in active use in the solution.
- Active, indicates whether a product is active in feed® or not. Setting a status as inactive will mean that products with this status are not visible in feed® or via the API unless specifically requested to include inactive products.". In feed you can select to include inactive in your search.
