• NOBB Import module, how do I get it?
    • First and foremost, our module assumes that you have an agreement with Byggtjeneste for access to their NOBB export API. feed® requires API access to your products, and you will need to contact Byggtjeneste to obtain the necessary username and password for this access.
    • The NOBB-Import module in feed® is not required by everyone, but if you need it, please contact salg@isys.no to purchase access.
  • I have what I need; how do I get started?
    • Here, we will of course assist you as much as you need, and our skilled project managers can guide you through the process, which is quite straightforward and simple.
      • Create any missing master data fields in feed® for the information you wish to import from NOBB.
        • As a minimum, you must have an attribute to specify that a product should be imported of type "Checkbox" and an attribute for the NOBB number of type "Integer."
      • Create a NOBB import configuration as described in Creating a NOBB Import configuration
      • Map data from NOBB to the desired fields in feed® as described in NOBB - import data mapping
      • Test the integration with one or a few products by starting the import from NOBB manually on the product page.
      • Once data mapping is done and tested successfully, you can proceed to set up a job that imports and regularly keeps the products in feed® updated with the latest changes from NOBB. This is easy to set up as described in Setting up scheduled import jobs.
  • I’ve marked new products for import from NOBB, but the scheduled job isn’t updating them?
    • When setting up a job to regularly fetch changes from NOBB, it only updates products that have been marked as changed in NOBB since the last successful import job. The exception to this is the first time you start a new job that has not been run before. During the first run, it imports all products, but afterward, only changed products in NOBB will be updated. This means you need to manually trigger an import from NOBB for new products you want to import after the import job is set up. See the screenshot above for how this is done.
