Customizing product information with product templates
Product templates in feed® play an important role in customizing the information displayed on the product sheet. All custom attributes and text fields must be associated with one or more product templates to be visible on a product.
To display custom attributes and texts, one must select a product template for the product.
- Name, can be translated
- Code, must be unique, used by API
- Description, can be translated

Important note: If you have integrations that import product information to feed and the template that is in use does not cover what is being imported, this information will not be imported to feed.
Adding the field to the template later on will not trigger an update to an external import. In these cases, one might have to contact the developer and get a full synchronization activated to get the information imported, or if supported, trigger it in feed.
