File category - What is it good for...
Absolutely nothing...?
Well, maybe not entirely true, but this is just a pure categorization of media that is practically only used when you are within the media library overview or accessible via API. Here you can use categories to filter and/or sort in the overview if you have implemented it. Useful, but completely optional.
