Excel import of "Line for data register" imports or updates the values inside an existing "data register".

Data registers are used for predefined selection criteria.  To import "Lines for data register" you need to download the import template first, or if you already have some values in the data register, you can export these lines from feed, and edit or add lines to an import.

The template supports import to the languages you have defined in feed, so when you click on download template you need to select the languages you want to use when updating or creating new "Line for data register".

Make sure you create new values on all languages so that users on different languages setting than yourself will see the value in their language as well. This is also important if you will be using these in integrations.

Blank on a language will result in blank value for that language.

If you just "update", you can update only on the languages that are missing values on.

You need to specify a key for each value when importing "Line for data register". The key is not language dependent, but the values are.

To see the keys that are in use on "Line for data register", go to "Basic data". Under Product, click on "Data register" then find the "data register" you want to import values to and click on it.

Here you will se a list of the lines already present on the "Data registers" (you can also export this list if needed).

Blank on keys are manually created data register lines that has not received an key on creation. These cannot be updated in an Excel import (unless they are given an key code first).

It is also important to note that without a key they will not be included in integrations.
